Caroline shares not only the same cellars as (husband) Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, but also the same approach to winemaking - restraint, indigenous yeasts, fermenting and ageing in large (350 litre) barrels, only 30% new - to produce a range of both red and whites that are quite simply among the very top in Burgundy today. Caroline made the red wines for her father’s estate, Jean-Marc Morey, and her range of wines, shows that confidence and experience with style and finesse rarely seen in Burgundy today. Both reds and whites show extraordinary clarity, tension and precision… but with only a few barrels produced of most wines these are difficult to come by.
