Celebrating Red & Blue (perhaps with a touch of White)

Ah yes – AFL grand final weekend – something to celebrate. We are open Friday and Saturday unless Arthur’s Seat decides to erupt. In any event, be it pandemic, earthquake or volcano, here are some celebratory tipples for the weekend ahead. 

For the lead-in, Rob Dolan’s Blanc de Blanc might be the best priced sparkling in the country  – perfect to start and to finish. For Demons supporters, our full Champagne selection is locked and stocked. As nights are still cold, Halliday’s highest scoring Cab Malbec from the home stable is not to be missed and close to gone. If you’re just here from premierships – Florence Cholet from DFC has dazzled with her 2019 High Hill of Beaune – it was a warm vintage so benefits from the higher elevation. It’s a delight.
